I need to swap the sides my backstay adjuster is on. I have my solar panel wires on the stb side, same as where the adjuster is.

Need to know if the block at the junction of the Y is on a swivel, which would allow me to just take out the pin at the base and swap sides, or if it isn't I would need attach a leader line to the end of the port side, pull it through the block, then re attach and pull the other side back through. Or if someone knows a better way, I am all ears.

On a quiet day you can easily walk to the mast base with the backstay in your hand . The block then is within easy reach . On my 370 the backstay block has no swivel.

Thanks for the tip. Was wondering how much it would come down if went forward and stood on cabin top.

Guess I will just crank down hard on topping lift and mainsheet on a day with no wind and do it.

If you have a 348 I'm sure it has a block and tackle type adjustment that requires two attachments points on one side and one on the other.  If you sway the adjustment to the other side you may need an additional attachment point.  This is based on the arrangement on my 385.
