Hi All
Sorry, me again and quick question, I’ve looked under the rear berth at the fuel tank and the fuel tank inspection hatch is between the two openings so not easy to get to, can the tank be move over to gain access to the hatch? I’d like to fit a gauge sender and the easiest option is to fit it in the inspection hatch as it can be removed and drilled away from the tank. Cheers Stu

Hi all
Just for an update, spent some time crawling around the aft cabin this afternoon and found 3 bolts holding the tank up so by the looks, release them and the tank can move to mid opening and the hatch can be opened up.. that’s the theory anyway! Cheers Stu

Hi Stu,
Yes the tank can be moved around after the bolts have been loosened, but sadly it cannot be completely removed. Mine had an after market gauge fitted which is accessible from the opening in the aft cabin floor.

Hi All
Finally got down to the boat today and managed to install the sender. To say the least, it was a blighter to fit. One thing to watch out for was the rubber seal. It appeared to be across the whole of the hatch but had disintegrated so some was resting in the tank. The black marks in the tank on the video weren’t moving when I shook and moved the tank, don’t think it’s the bug. Use the post reply button at the bottom of the thread, rather than the message box. An image button then comes up so you can upload an image (I tend to do around 400-600 pixel dimensions) on to the site and then you place it at the position you want.
