Our boat came without gate stanchions, and I would like to install one on my starboard side. What are your recommendations, and how did you do it? Did you have to reposition the existing rail feet? There doesn't seem to have an aluminum plate in the proposed location. You fix the foot bolt with resin? Thank you for your help.

Thank you Jeb, This will be very helpful to install our new gate stanchion. I was wondering if you could use a stanchion foot base already in place (i.e. installing 3 new ones). The anchor pin is probably different. Bruno
