I'm contemplating substituting a genoa for the self-tacking standard jib. Does anyone have any recommendations for the tracks and cars, the size and make of sail, and is there a template somewhere showing the optimal position for the tracks. Thanks, Andy Keith

Andy.
The tracks you have on the boat are from Pfeiffer and there website is www.pfeiffer-marine.de .Genoa cars are listed .Once you know which one contact james@hanseyachts.co.uk and he can order them.
If you went for a genoa NOT exceeding 135% then thats ok.We use a 135%tri radial in cruising pentex with foam luff and this great.We use Mouse sails in Anglesey Tel;01407763636, or roger@mousesails.co.uk and he has a template to fit the 300/301.He will also give you measurements were to place the cars.
