We have the new main and 105 ordered so now need to add genoa tracks to our 2014 445. I have the reinforcement plan and have read the previous posts on this site but I am keen to see any pictures of a 445 install if possible? It appears that you need to drill through the rope cover panels before you get into the area with the backing plate but any feedback on how people actually did this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

Mine has the tracks fitted, right where there is no non skid. They are oriented right towards the bow, as close as practicable to the slide for the jib.  I would suggest a small exploratory hole, to feel for alloy backing plate, and then set a stop on your tap size drill.
I could send photos if you want?

Thank you for the response , I ended up giving the job to the boat builder to execute! Ran out of time.

I can confirm he did not lift the rope cover at all to complete the job , just drilled right through to the backing plate...probably a job I should / could have done myself!
