Wondering how you folks are removing the water sensor for testing? Mine is not interested in being removed and I'm concerned that I will break it if I apply too much pressure.

Yup - I understand it needs to be screwed out. But when I try, it won’t budge and I am concerned about applying too much force and breaking it.

My oil light on this green panel keeps flickering red. An engineer has tested the oil pressure and it is OK and the wiring to the panel also OK. How can i locate and fix an error on the actual alarm board. A new one is a crazy price?

As a follow up to my earlier post, I recently serviced my sail drive and took the opportunity to check the water sensor. Even with the sail drive out of the boat, I was unable to remove the sensor in one piece. I had to use a fair bit of force and sheared off the plastic top. I then drilled a couple of small holes in it and was finally able to remove it in several pieces. The threads looked like “glue” had been used when it was installed.
