Hi Hanse friends
Got a problem with the fan in the engine room. It has suddenly stop working on our Hanse 385 from 2013. I've checked the fam and it's working, so as the fuse and the relay. Where else could I look for find the fault?

Since the fan operates as long as the engine is on, it looks like it should be hard wired to the ignition circuit. There are a bunch of fuses there, so you can start checking those

The fan is not operating as the engine is on (I checked it with cables directly from the service battery.

That means that some fuse in the ignition circuit is blown

Check the yanmar manual, it usually shows electrical diagrams and how the fan is wired to ignition circuit

I read that it cuould be the MDI boxen and in that case I've to change it. On newer VP-1 30 it's a MDI box which it's impossible to change anything in, just try another?
