Facnor halyard swivel C38 jam

   After 16 years of use my Facnor halyard swivel C38 is extremely stiff and blocked.
Facnor has a new version C38/RA swivel for SD150-SD180. It consists of aluminum and has shaft seals (W65-85-8 BABSL with dust protection lip).

 Facnor 2020 spare part catalog(https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H2_MZNdz7XOxJj9rLv3FCo-AXwz5CgO4/view):
- Part 09170038040 COMPLETE C38 RA SWIVEL retail price ex. VAT: 572,76 €

For the old swivel there is a repair kit (09066038040 ROLLS KIT + CIRCLIPS C38/C24) 134,02€ consisting of:
2x bearing Ø58xØ76x9 14098176000
2x external ring Ø58 14072058100
1x internal ring Ø75 14071075100
1x internal ring Ø72 14071072100

The new swivel is much more stable. I decided to buy the new swivel. I can now roll in the genoa completely by hand without a winch. I'm very satisfied. Except for the price.

In germany the distributor is Hahnfeld-Masten. They want 710,98€ incl. Tax + shipping.

	Hi. Because of this post I also did a short googling against my favorite danish rigger. But did not find any kit for refurbishment. Only as stated a brand new part.
