Hi Guys,
Does anyone have one halyard for both Gennaker and Code Zero. I’m planning to add Code Zero where we have second forestay and I have discussions with sailmakers how to do it. We have in our bowsprit 3 fittings, first for self tacking jib, second for the second forestay and third for the gennaker. We are discussing to use the second fitting for Code Zero and the question is regarding the halyard. Theoretically you use only one of those sails at the time so having only one halyard would simplify. But since we have 3 dedicated fittings in the bowsprit anyway maybe it’s better to use this setup effectively and have separate halyards? What are your views and experiences? Darek |
