I have the 470 2010. I bought the AHK82 wich plugs in to the RS82 vhf of the boat. When I opened tje elctric bord to access themain vhf unit i saw that the unit1 and unit 2 where occupied. ???
This could mean that the wirering for the cockpit vhf is already installed.. I looked and cant locate it. Does anyone have precise info on the matter.. Thank you John (Marseille, France ) |

John,
do you have a external speaker in the cockpit? If yes, take a look on the backside of this speaker this will be normaly the place for the cable. When Hanse just connect nr 7 and 8 of station 2 plugconnector on the reciever blackbox than there is only the external speaker(4 Ohm) who is connected.If the use the simrad cable EXHA20(20 Meter) the cable comes to the external speaker and there will be a connection to plug in the handset.You only have to plug the handset of the AHK82 in and than you have a one speaker and one cable to much(I believe in the set AHK82 there is always a handset+speaker+20M cable)
