Hi all ... after visiting the preview night of the Earls Court Boatshow and talking to both Peter and Phil of Hanse UK. I have noticed a number of changes to the 350: 1.> Hull Windows are now surrounded by wood finish - tidier appearance but seems to make the saloon and windows appear smaller. 2.> There is to be a double (split) sink in the galley (as per the 320) resulting in slight dimension changes to the surrounding furniture / cupboard. 3.> Cushion under nav station wedges onto saloon table to form a back rest. 4.> Fore Cabin lights have been moved from the hull side to bulkhead and a corner shelf added to the port side. 5.> Magazine type rack in starboard side saloon replaced with a better cupboard. 6.> Mirror + Shelf / Fitting above the Bathroom basin. Im sure there a few others as the model on diplay seemed different - maybe this is due to the darker wood instead of the cherry I have been used to (Previous boatshows + demo model). I Have some pics to upload at some point.... Might see some of you there today (Sat) and maybe Sun - I'll be the one obsessing over the 350 wearing a bright yellow North Face Jkt. |

Very interessting report, specialy for us waiting for our new 350. I have seen the 350 twice, first the prod.nr 2 in Orust and then a brand new in late october. The one from october had some of the changes you have noticed but far from all. I find the dobbel sink a big improvment, the first one was very dissapointing for a 35 feet boat. I have seen one the new pictures at www.hanseyachts.com the new wood finish around the hull windows and are not sure if thats all good, but it might be a bit more expensive look and more cosy feeling inside??? Very interested in your pictures. Are you posting them here, if not could you please send dem to my e-post: jbjord@online.no

It looks like a very fine boat, almost like a stylish apartment inside.
You don't happen to have any photos of the boat below the waterline, do you? I am interested in seeing if there have been any changes to the keel and rudder since the 342. Johan |

I have a picture of the 350, below the waterline, but I have difficulties posting images, not "only member with sufficient permissions can access this page". I have not investigated why it is like this... Does anyone know?
If you post me your e-mail adress I`ll send it to you, maby you kan post it here?
I think the "new" look inside is very good, but is it a bit plastic feeling or does it just seem like that on the pictures?

Voilà - here are the pictures.
Apart from the fact that the keel is T-shaped, the rudder seems much shorter than on a 342. Johan

But then again, it could be a trick of the perspective so don't take my word for it.
