During review of all sorts of issues I discovered that I could pull out a screw that connects hardtop and the stainless support. The screw was only glued in with silicone and could just be pulled out by hand. Haven't checked all other screws, but we looked into the hardtop and couldn't see any plate to screw would go into a thread, yet it might be laminated into it. Boatyard says the need to tap a new thread into a new metal plate to connect it properly.
In addition to that when taking a closer look, some screws cannot be screwed into the hardtop because the stainless support beam is angled and no screw or screwdriver could drive it in as the beam is in the way. Highly recommend all hardtop owners to check the screws from installation. I have photos but posting them here is a pain....

Are you talking of the six screws on top or the three at bottom?
Did the factory install your hardtop before the transport or the dealer after the transport? |

I am referring the screws from bottom up that go through the stainless steel support beams. My hardtop was installed at factory and the. Disassembled for transport and re-assembled by yard in Hong Kong.
