The 445 comes set for single handed sailing. However, I would like to race it, and am thinking of several modifications necessary to make it perform better.
The main change is to replace the self tacking jib with a larger Genoa. This requires adding winches and jib travelers. Does anyone know if that is at all possible? Where are the two extra winches installed? The travelers? Thanks for any tips Dan

A very old post but thought would update it for our install. New Lewmar 50s , very easy install , self tappers into backing plate already in layup , access via the lazarette for the backing nuts etc.
