Hi!

I am a new Hanse-owner (345, 2015). After 10 days we are in general very happy with the new boat, but there are a few things...

When I connect the shore power, the lamp in the AC panel is blinking red. This means that there is an "Error". (If it is permanent red, it is the reverse polarity problem, but this is obviously an error).

The batteries are charging, and everything works fine. However, I am worried about this, so we have not been using shore power after we discovered the blinking lamp.

Have any of you experienced the blinking lamp? (I have tested it in two different harbours, with different cables).

The next step is to hire an electrician to check the system. (I am also trying to get hold of the previous owner, but that seems to take some time).

Thanks in advance for any help Smile

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago on my 345. I removed the plugs from both ends of the shore power cable and noticed that the copper in the cable was greenish and brittle so I cut off about 150mm of cable and re-attached the plugs and the green light came back on. best of luck.

Thanks!

I have tested with two different cables, so I believed I had eliminated cable problems. Nothing would be better than if it is just the cable. Will check this.
