   It is with great sadness that we tell you of the death of our friend and colleague, Jack Smith.
Jack was returning from a weekend at Hamburg Boat Show when he was taken ill on board the Lufthanse flight to Manchester. He later died in hospital  from a massive brain haemorrhage.
Jack was instrumental in setting up Hanse UK Ltd and part of the team that was responsible for building it's success. In fact he was carrying in his luggage a plaque for 'Dealer of the Year', awarded during the show.
As you probably know, Jack was a great character, a superb yachtsman and a happy family man and will be missed by us all. The team at Hanse UK will do their utmost to build on Jack's successes and to make sure that every Hanse UK customer will be well cared for now and in the future.
