Reefing points

   I find that my standard East mainsail has reefing points in silly places. The first reef is not worth having and the second is not enough. An additional problem with the second is that there are no eyes to tie up the loose sail with. I am considering having the following mods made at my local sailmaker.
1. Fit luff & leach eyes for an additional heavy weather reef.
2. Fit eyes through which to tie up the loose sail on the second reef 
3. While I'm at it, have a cunningham eye fitted
Anyone else noted the same needs ?
