Does anyone hv a tv like this mounted on the salon wall? It's mounted very tight to the wall. I can't get it off the wall for repair. Any ideas?

We have the "pop-up" version. But normally there is an allen key screw holding the tv to the frame. I think if you pull the TV out from the wall at the bottom and look up and use a torch you will see the allen key bolt head. You may need a long allen key to reach it to undo it. Once undone you should be able to lift the TV up and off the bracket.

I also have the pop-up version, but I have seen various wall mounted TV's and pictures and they all have a common mechanism.

Usually the mount screws into the wall, and then the TV, picture, or whatever slides onto the mount.   Depending upon the mount, they sometimes shift left or right to lock into the mount so they won't jump out (important for boats...).

If this is a possibility, then have you tried sliding it left or right and then up and out of the mount?    It could be any number of shift/slide combinations, but if there is no way you can get an allen wrench into the mount, or move the TV away from the wall, it would have to work this way....
