I lost my bow thruster cap and tryed to buy one new. That seems to be unpossible. Is there a drawing available to have that cap rebuild or built it on my own?
How to connect the cap with the bow thruster?

Anybody out there with the same issue and/or expereance?

Thanks for yourt reply.

Best solution in my opinion is buying in Boatoon.Hanse.com in my case, they didn’t have the part on the web, then I emailed them and they sent me the partno and price. It was 485 Euro for a 548.
Including VAT and shipping, which is not bad.

Making it by yourself is a lot of work believe me

The email was hanse@boatoon.com and they usually reply in a couple of days max. The service is good. Don’t schedule the boat lift until you have the parts. If you have Quick BTR xxx, then I would take a picture underwater and most likely you will find that the hinges and cables are missing. They are about 330+60+VAT+shipping. You also need to have primer and antifoul for the new part and possibly inside.

To share my experience.
1- Making one without a print is time consuming and not straight forward. The shape is not symmetrical.
2- Hanse doesn’t have the part No on the web, I emailed them and they provided a PartNo.
3- The part that came was kind of Generic. Needs cutting to size. A job that took a few hours from a professional to be able to match to the exact shape and where the mounts need to go. Best strategy was to tape a strong paper, mark the hinges exact position, then cut a bit larger then trim. The edges will need to be trimmed to match the hull corner angle.
4- It will come unprimed. You need at minimum to epoxy prime, you can skip Gel coat painting, and go directly to antifoul prime then antifoul preferably the same as the rest of the boat to avoid future confusion.
5- The alignment and making sure it closes right is a couple of hours job that needs two people at minimum one up and one down.

I hope this helps
