Topic: Replacement of Mainsheet Blocks - Hanse 350Posted: 06 August 2024 at 19:10 |

Hello;
The cheek-plate on one of the original Lewmar cabin-top mainsheet blocks on my 2008 H350 (with the single-ended German mainsheet arrangement) cracked and I'll need to replace it. It appears to have been manufactured from finely engineered papier mache, so I'm planning to replace both. I was wondering if anyone had replaced these blocks on their boat, and if so: - if you have any recommendations for replacement hardware, and - if there's anything to note about the replacement process - ie, can the same bolts be reused, do they need to be reseated, holes filled and redrilled, etc.? Many thanks, Phil
