I have a 2006 Yanmar YM30, this has a "b"panel
As an option Yanmar supply a "C" panel ; this has a water temp gauge and oil pressure gauge, all else is the same as b panel.
The C was never an option for the YM30 as it has no sender for oil pressure or water temp.
Because my b panel is glued together with sikaflex and looks tired , have bought a C panel on flebay , like me it was cheap.
I am fairly sure I can link all the parts of my b panel as this was compatible across the yanmar range, however anyone any idea a good way to fit an oil pressure sendor and a water temp sensor on a 3YM

Remove the oil pressure switch and replace it with a VDO double sender. The oil pressure is max 5 atu or about 80psi and the thread is most probably 1/8NPT and not 10mm metric. The two threads look the same but are not compatible! Make a test before ordering. You might need also an extension tube if there is not enough room to accommodate the larger pressure sender in the place of the small switch. The Yanmar sender costs about 200-250€ while the VDO about 80€. Some reading is required to select the right sender but I guess the friendly Yanmar or VDO dealer can help. If you have the correct part and tools the job can be finished in 15'.
Just my 2¢. I just did the same operation on a 3jh4e Yanmar.
