Has anyone experiencedthis?
It seems like the floorboard under the kitchen has shifted outwards resulting in a gap between the boards.
The plate with the stairs seems to align the the steps, but the screws have been removed.
Please see the pictures.
Kind regards.

All the flooring can be unscrewed which will allow them to be shuffled around a bit, which you sometimes need to do to actually lift them.
It looks like your galley section just needs to be pushed back into alignment and the screws replaced.
