Hey guys,
I have some innerlining cracks in my boat, as you can see below. This damage appeared after the boat was taken by a skipper to be lifted. ![]() Now i have a number of questions. I wasn'tor present when the damage was created. But is this something that could have been caused by rough seas, could it have been caused by staying in dry for a couple of weeks? Is it structurally problematic? How can this be fixed? Thanks in advance.

Tough to know just from a photo. If you are really unsure you are best to get a surveyor to take a look. However, that may just be cracking of the flo coat. Which is not in itself a significant problem. The main question would be why it cracked? Lift strop or cradle positioned poorly perhaps? Surveyor may recommend grinding back to ensure there’s no deeper issue. Or may want to see the boat out of the water to see the hull.

Looks like it may be brittle flo coat around where it meets the hull (maybe not sufficiently degreased) but if it were me I would get as much of the sole boards (floor) up as possible and look around all the grid to see if it is in other areas. If it is in other areas I would be getting a professional opinion on it. Not worth risking it.

Not good! Hoping the skipper has professional insurance you can tap. Fingers-crossed for you that the fix can be done quickly so you can get sailing again.
