Hi All,
While our 385 is on the hard we were trying to decide if we really need the boom brake or not. I was taking a a good look at the vang, brake and reefing lines I can see that someone has made a mess of it all. To be clear the boat is pretty new to us and more important items needed to be addressed. I tried to attach pictures of the existing vang but can’t figure out how, so if someone knows how to attach pictures can you post a picture of your vang and reefing set up at the mast so I can see if it need to be corrected on my boat or just tell me how add pictures to my post.
All my thanks to this great group

To add pictures, do not use the reply box below the thread.  Instead press the "Post Reply" button. You will then find a slightly different format to the reply and above it you will find a picture which says "insert image" image when you hover over  it.  You first have to upload a file from your computer and then insert it where you want it.  I typically aim to resize a picture to around 500-700 pixels wide/high.

Or you can go to the reply box at the bottom of the thread and hit the button 2nd from the right, the one with the arrow pointing north east. But as Martin says there is size limit of 500k
All the best
