Hi we have the Hanse 415 with the Ultra 21kg anchor.  Spent 6 months in the Bahamas last winter.  The anchor held fine, but there were some nights i wondered if it would.   Would like to upgrade to a larger 27kg.  Does anyone have any info on whether the existing bow sprit will handle the additional weight?

I use a 25Kg Rocna and the roller steel copes just fine.  However, there is a clearance problem with the headsail furler.  We added a piece of stainless to protect the bottom of the furler.  A carful check of clearances with the new anchor. Also a smaller roller was needed.
The better solution is to add an extended bow roller.

Hope that helps.
