Right! I found the chargers and yes they are back to front so after checking which one is which(cables are well labeled) I found that there is a 12 volt Current going in to the charger and a 24v current coming out of the charger so I then went to the batteries and again all wiring is well labeled and I found that there is a 24 v current going into the batteries found after removing the charging cable from the batteries and measuring at the cable.
So I suppose then I should be looking at the batteries.
I attached a 24 v charger to the batteries and in the space of 8hrs or so went from 24v to 26.2 v at the terminals but on the wurth panel it showed 24.4v to 27.3v
12 hours later the batteries showed the same voltage as before I put the charger on.
How do I tell the condition of the batteries (16months Old) or is there something that I am missing. Thanks to all who have added to this thread.

I use a car battery tester for the purpose. They are not very expensive:  I could find for 20 euros one that works for agm, 24/12V, and for the right current range. I use it every year to check that everything is OK...

I’ll leave the battery part of your question to someone more versant with battery health checking, but I will also share one aspect I learned about the Magic box for other readers. It can be used as either a 12/24 vdc supply or a 12/24 vdc charger. If you still have the factory installed unit, then it is likely set correctly. However, for future reader of this thread, a new Magic unit arrives configured as a supply. I made this discovery when I decided to check the work of the Mastervolt installer. To change it to a charger, you will need to open the green cover and change the DIP switches to match what is on the Hanse electrical print (this is also indicated in the Mastervolt manual). Sorry, I don’t have access to the prints at the moment, but I seem to recall that the switch positions are indicated at the top of the page where the chargers appear. This enables you to have bulk-absorption-float modes.

Again, this is likely not relevant since you may have the factory units which were installed correctly. This is for replacement installations.
