Hi Sikan, removing the mainsheet FROM the deckhouse to the cockpit was the first thing I had done even before handover of the boat. IMHO the sheet on the deckhouse limits control and it is almost halfway the boom, in case of an uncontrolled gybe this induces huge forces on the gooseneck.
However if you choose to replace the sheet this is (was) the standard location: And this is the actual position: |
