All getting exciting, Night Train should have been loaded onto CMA CGM Mosca today. I gather from my agent that the container is over sized and so she will be on top of the stack, so I hope they ties her down well!
Any of you guys see her going by, I would love a photo.
She should arrive early January.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Paul

Here are some links:
a)  View of CGM Musca when it will leave the port ( the need high tide ) , you should be able to spot your yacht when it passes Blankenese

b) Currently its still in port

Congratulations. It is exciting to know that your new boat is heading home. Presumably it is in a Flat Rack collapsible platform so it can stick out a bit. Which is a good thing as it will be the first thing off the container ship!Thumbs Up

Here is the site, where you an follow CGM Musca:

My estimate is that it will be 30 - 60 minutes after leaving the dock, before it passes the Blankenese webcam.

Yes, the coming storm will be a really severe weather! Many people in Northern germany are preparing for a extreme storm flood. I hope your boat will be secure aboard the ship.  Keep the fingers crossed!

The storm is very severe indeed, they predict it to gain strength over night and it might turn out the worst one in the last 50 years.  All Transport modes in Northern Germany came to a standstill today and the Population has been advised to stay indoors.

The good news is, that MS Musca has apparently decided to stay in the port of BremerhavenClap and wait until the situation improves. So Night Train is safe, but might be a couple of days late in S'pore.

We had cargo on a Maersk freighter which decided to head out into the perfect storm. Will probably kn ow in 6 weeks how it went.Ermm

Yes I hope that they have decided to stay in Bremerhaven because of the storm and not some scheduling idea from head office that will see them head off into the worst of it!
Thanks all for the various links etc, I missed them leaving Hamburg as it was night time.
I hope the storm dies down soon and that nobody gets more than wet feet.

CGM CMA Musca has left Bremerhaven this morning at 05:00 local and is underway heading westward into the North Sea. Next port of call is Rotterdam.
Conditions are much better now even the Little box Steamers below 100 m length are out again.
