Hi
has anyone installed a raymarine S1 wheel pilot on a 315?
This has some good features that the simrad pilot does not have and the price is pritty much the same
( separate display, rudder angel sensor etc..)
It is also a lot easier to detach the wheel if you like ( as far as I can see)
Seem like it is just to unplug the connector and unscrew thet wheel
How is this with the simrad WP 32?

Is there anyone with experiece of converting the simrad bus to NMEA? And will all the available NMEA data be transfeered trough this solution?

inputs are appriciated!
