Electrical Gremlins

We had a problem today with the anchor windless and the tachometer on the Yanmar display.

As we approached an anchorage I noticed that the Yanmar tacho had gone right round the dial and up against a stop, there were no warning lamps on and the alternator was still charging correctly. At the same time the anchor windless refused to work, no green light for control on the switch panel but the electric winch still worked so plenty of power.
I presumed that the engine relay that allows power to the windless control circuit was not energising due to the tacho problem!

The standard 430 electrical diagrams don't show the relay so does any one know where it is and how it is energised when the engine runs.

Its hard work man handling the anchor and chain back up!

The tacho resumed its normal operation after turning the engine off and back on again, it spun round anti clockwise back to zero and then back to normal revs. But the anchor windless still refused to work!!
