Hi All,

Has anyone used the Simarine App with their Simarine panel in their Hanse 460? I am to presume it requires an internet connection and that it is not included ex factory unless you pay for the optional wifi, which I did not. Anyone tried to hook it up? Is it worth the trouble?

 Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have used it with Android (doubt that will make any diference).
You connect the Simarine app to the DC panel by wi-fi (scan QR code from the menu is the easiest). If you go into developer mode, you can setup a dashboard, saves scrolling through each item. You can set up alerts for high and low alarms.
It is useful, to monitor fluid levels when you're filling up with water or fuel (and saves having to get up and scroll through the panel).

Overall there are a number of apps the connect to the hardware of the boat:
1.Sentinel - remote access to boat sensors via GSM - no WiFi needed
2. Fusion Audio if you have fusion entertainment
3. LIFOs if you have lithium battery setup
4. B&G for chartplotter control / mirroring
5. Simarine for sensor readings
6. Fischer & Pykel via Smart HQ app for the dishwasher if you have it.

The Mastervolt system connects via a USB PC connection or can be changed via its display - no app.
