We are planning to sail this summer from Holland to Brittany. We take one week for the trip from Oostende to Saint Quay Portrieux. From there whe sail along the coast to Brest and back in about three weeks. After that we sail in one week back tot Holland.
Are there any suggestions to visit ore not to visit along that coast? Any suggestions are welcome.

I am leaving Bradwell on 16 june to arrive in St peter port , on 26 june via Boulogne, dieppe, le havre & cherbourg
We are leaving the boat in St PPort for a week then we are cruising the channel islands for 2 weeks
When will you be going?
perhaps we will pass
Re places to go
St peter port, ( a refereshing change on the way back after 2 weeks in france )
leizardrue ( sorry do not recall how to spell)- Beautifull on a warm early morning
Treburden-- Bit "sea sidey" but I like it & the children can have a beach to play on
L'aberwrach ( interesting walks with good views on a fine day but miserable early season in the wind & rain)
Camaret ( Worth walking along the cliffs to see the world war 2 damage to the gun emplacements
Places to miss:-
Le Havre ( Ok if you want to buy some wacky baccy I suppose!!)
St Malo ( Very false but suits some)
I like Cherbourg some do not but if bad weather prevails it can be interesting to go to the sub sea exploration aquarium
I have spent 1 short night in Granville & had to move on but it looked interesting so we are going back this year

I like Ouistrum. There is a nice canal side walk ( or take the yacht or dingy) to historic WW2 Pegasus Bridge. A small market is close to the marina as well as cheap wine and beer. In the village, the Big Bunker (WW2 again) is worth visiting.
A short cruise along the coast are the remains of the Mulberry Harbour which you can sail inside. Very atmospheric. Charles |

Samuel,
we are leaving the 16 of July from Oostende (belgium) and planning to be in Saint Quay Portrieux at the 21 or 22 of July. We have been to the channel islands, St. Malo and Lezardrieux two years ago. Now we are planning to go to Brest. So L'Aberwrach will be definetily visited.
