Rome or nearby

   Hi,
I shall be sailing this summer from the south of France to Corsica and the Tuscan islands, Sardinia etc on my 470, "Songbird".
I will be looking for a berth where l can safely leave the boat for two weeks at the beginning of August in the area near Rome so that my wife and l can travel back to the UK. The mainland is not a critical location but easy access to an airport with links back to the UK would be useful.

Any suggestions please?
