I am getting voltage to the relay box (upper red cable) but not out of it (lower red cable). Is the small box under the incoming red cable part of arrangement (yellow connector with white wire leading to it)?
This wiring diagram shows 5A fuse. Where is this fuse located? Have not found that? Or is the one in the picture (red plastic fuse)?

Are there any more switches which have to be turned on after the main breaker?

I measured the voltage at front and no current is coming to the remote control unit (with wire type).

Any advise is appereciated!

Are you having the same problem as I?

I managed to bypass the system that says motor must be running.
The anchor switch on the switchboard had no power.
I connected a cable from the red cable here and up to the right most pin on the anchor switch. Removed and isolated the one that was there.

Have not tried under load, maybe relays should get power from service power instead.

Hej there,

"Behind the seat, under the switchboard I found a big relay for front windlass and a small releay. The small relay seems to be for the windlasses too.
But that was ok, there was 12 volt in and out when motor was running."

Are those relays you mention above the ones in my picture? I get no light to led on the switch panel whether engine is running or not? Do I have a problem here?

In my picture into which pin you connected your red wire from the switchboard? Could you possibly post a picture of your set-up?

It is the big relay above the breakers. The small right to it. Same stuff as mine. I have one more big bircuit breaker and a big relay in the back near the rear windlass.

I han no light by the anchor switch either. That was the problem. I Connected a wire from one of the big circuit breakers (you have two of and I have three of) and to the right pin on the switch on the switchboard.
Now I get light by the switch when I turn it on.
You see back on the switch which pin to use. The other pin has a lead to the light. Just remove and isolate the old wire.

Is this wire in your picture?

Yes, sorry... the wire is not connected yet... on the picture. I only had a thin wire and use two to get a thicker :-) But I connected to the top on the middle breaker.

The anchor winch system is fed from the engine room , where a fuse is located on the port side entry of the engine in the port aft cabin .
In my boat , after engine maintenance , that fuse had disappeared - so the winch system did not work at all. Apparently in opening the port side engine 'door' the fuse box was caught and inadvertently taken away
So look for that fuse in the engine room and replace

Hallelujah ! I did your trick and it works !! I have no idea what is going on with the wiring of this windlass but it starts engine running or not. Much better than the starting point: completely dead. Tusen tack  Smile
