Hi all,

I'm currently installing a watermaker in my Hanse 445 (Schenker Zen 30) and I was researching where to put the thru hull for the watermaker. Is there anyone out there with a 445 that has drilled a thru hull for a watermaker with photos/layouts of where they put it? I got some input that it should be on the starboard side below the salon table, but would be great if others have done this as well. Any input would be much appreciated :)

Best,
Axel

We installed ours on the centreline below the stairs, in front of the engine. 3/4" TruDesign with a scoop as stipulated in the installation instructions (Spectra in our case). The hose runs forward and around the bilge pump where the strainer and accumulation tank are installed, and then back behind the engine where the filters are installed.

Cheers
