Hi all. I am still sailing to scotland and loving it! We or should I say I and the family dog Freddie have had a real mixture of terrible sea and weather and some fantastic weather and the occasionally good sea. I am returning to the boat after having a couple of weeks off on Fri 17th June. I then sail from Mylor Marina to Newlyn harbour and the I hope to the Scilly Isles where I will spend a day or two. Then a long long hop to Milford Haven, south Wales. As always you can catch up with the details at www.sailingtoscotland.blogspot.com Hope you enjoy it!
I have also attached a few photos.

There are now two Hanses in St Mary's Harbour, Isles of Scilly, currently sheltering from near gales. It was pleasing to see The Duke next to us when I woke up yesterday.
One lesson Richard will articulate after his challenging arrival in The Scillies - never arrive after the pubs have closed. Good luck and fair winds for the rest of your trip, Richard. Charles |

Is there anyone who knows more about the Scilly Isles than Charles P? I dont think so! It was great meeting you and having hot chocolate on board it was just what the doctor ordered. And what a coincidence to end up right in front of you. Im now heading for Lundy Isle and then Milford Haven and the weather is perfect, at last. |

Good luck with your travels, having just got back from Fort William, the cruising grounds around there are stunning, so when you reach there, Duke, takeyour time, and drink it in.

Duke,
We will be, hopefully at the south end of the Crinan Canal on Sunday 17th July. As we bring DD southwards after the 3PYR. For your info, if you would like a cheap and very safe mooring for your Hanse, I would reccomend Linnhe Marine, in Loch Linnhe, just between Shuna Island and the main land, very safe and very sheltered, £10.00 per night, just south of the Narrows. Hi Dave
I have come home for a week and I have just found your message about mooring at loch Linnhe. I will certainly have a look there. I am also hoping to do the crinnan canal this year as I have not done it before. I am also hoping to do the Cali for the second time as I was so impressed with it the first time. I am at the moment moored in Holyhead and my next stop is the Isle of Man hopefully with my daughter on board. At last company! I have had some very difficult experiences but also some great experiences. Hope your still following my blog. www.sailingtoscotland.blogspot.com . I still hope to bump in to u at some point on our travels.
Regards
Richard
