I finally replaced the ridiculous NIMBLE remote and antenna with a proper solution.  It now works up to 500' away and I have 3 remotes.  Very happy with the choice.

Unfortunately,  we were so happy with it that we kept playing with the remote and finally popped a fuse (it seems).   The F4 button on the WURTH panel is flashing.   F4 is the stern gate, and flashing usually indicates that the relay/button is working but an in-line fuse somewhere is blown.

The big 160 AMP fuse is fine.   Checked voltage on either side and its good.  The diagram references XB9.4.22 as the control wiring fuse, but that slot is empty.   Once again  (really getting old) the Hanse documentation is wrong.   I've found the control wiring lines leading from the WURTH panel, but cannot see similarly labeled lines coming into the panel area below the nav station.   Could this fuse be in some other place?   I really don't want to tear things apart tracing the wire to where ever its going..

When I had a flashing button on the marine electronics it actually turned out to be a fuse for the autohelm located in the starboard aft cockpit locker.

Rick,

In the docs I have the stern door control fuse is on the Werth panel XB5.5  the fuse is 5 amp which sounds about right for the control. I will email you the PDF as I'm not sure it will come through on MyHanse site.

OK..   Found it.     Because the Hanse documentation is such high quality (not),  I've taken to replacing fuses when they blow with "indicator fuses"..   These glow when blown, making it easier to see what the problem is.

Thanks to Wayne for his docs.   They were the closest (still not the same as my boat) to what I needed.  I also discovered how badly I need a surgical size fuse puller.   Not the easiest fuses to get to...

See picture..

Assuming this is Gabriel....

I tried to send this to you via private email a couple of weeks ago when I completed the install, but it bounced back as failed.  Your address must have changed.

One of the more troublesome components on our 575 was the orange NIMBLE remote for the stern gate.    There was just one.  It could get lost or damaged.  It seemed to only work when we were pressing it against the hull (no range).  It wasn't intuitive and we always fiddled with it.   Last summer,  Bonnie and I went cruising for 3 months. On a visit to Greenport Harbor the remote got soaked.   Despite supposedly being waterproof,  its cheap parts rusted internally.  It forced me to finally act.

I just finished installing a new, long range, multi-remote transceiver for the stern gate.    It comes from GAMA Electronics and is waterproof for marine use and reasonably priced.    I've included the URL and part number info below:

www.gamainc.com

KF340-2WP KF340-2WP
2 $39.90
LRF12V-2-ASL-WP-WPE RF12V-2-ASL
Communication Range:

long-range

Transmitter Type:

waterproof

Enclosure & Switch Type:

waterproof

1 $114.95

It now has a 500' range (I've tested it!) as well as three remotes.  You can pair up to twelve remotes with the device.    The waterproof remotes are not strictly necessary as you can have multiples of the lower priced one as spares.  The device comes with a remote, so you can order spares on top of that.

The install took a couple of hours.  The worst part being upside down in the starboard aft void laying on top of the bulkhead between the dinghy garage and the void.    It swaps out the NIMBLE device fairly easily and the stern switch in the cockpit still works fine.    As the new transmitter is more powerful and the antenna better, you don't need the antenna in the same place it was before.   You can mount it in a more accessible location

FWIW - See picture of installation and remote below.

This takes the place of the NIMBLE install done by HANSE.  It plugs into the same set of wiring.  Green and Yellow OUT wires must match the ones coming from the toggle on the stern of the boat.   See red arrows.

These are the waterproof remotes...
