To increase comfort while reading newspaper, we are upgrading to larger Jabsco toilet. But using the existing holes for mounting base leaves the toilet lid not in upright position. There seems to be a metal base with threads for mounting toilet base, but I need to mount base a bit further forward. Has anyone done this, do know if the metal base extends to a larger area?

Yes,the metal plate extends quite a ways out so you'll be fine.  I relacated ours also when we installed a larger fresh water toilet.  Just fill the old holes and enjoy the news.

Hi Björn,

I’am also replacing our toilets on our h430.
I think in the front toilet there is even less space than in the after
toilet. Are you also changing in the front and can you tell me if
you maneged to fix the one in the picture.

B.regards
Mark

This seems a bit tight. The only possibility I can think of is to rotate the toilet on the front left screw. But there might not be enough space for the toilet lid to stay open - or even vertical.
