I am having an issue with the large hatch in the master bedroom, it seems that there are no drainage holes in the aft portion of the large hatch and the channels keep filling up with water and not allowing the hatch to dry out and causing excessive corrosion.. I looked on a friends 2014 Hanse and he had the  drainage holes in the aft corners of the hatch,  I am assuming there are hoses that flow under the headliner and out the lower part of the hull above the waterline.  My question is this or maybe it's a question to HANSE direct, was this a manufacturers oversite and they forgot to put the drainage in for the Hatch, what would the fix be and if Hanse forgot, are they responsible to correct this issue?

The drainage holes are not on the master hatch, they are on forward edge of the sail locker hatch. The water runs through a channel between the two hatches. There is a flexible piece of hose that needs to be cleaned out in the forward portion of the sail locker. The water drains from the hatch through the deck and ends up in the chain locker.

Yes. That’s the way it is on my 588. Your 575 may be different since they have very different deck molds.

I have always had a similar problem.
In my case, one of the first H575, the discharge channels depth and inclination is wrong.
I always thought the reason is that the boat trim is not correct.
The bow is too high on the water and the stern too low.
If the water tank is completely full the water can slowly be discharged from the channels but in other cases it will stay there.
I suspect that if you have the heavy Williams in the garage this issue should be even worst.

I did not find a solution and I learnt to cohabit with this annoiance.

May be a 100 meters 12mm. anchor’s chain could improve the situation and also a 45 kgs Ultra anchor.
(and this would be the right size for this boat, not the 25 kgs Delta supplied from Hanse)
