I have the Flex O Fold 2-blade, which performs good. That would be my choice. If you contact them by mail, they know exactly which one you need for your boat/motorcombination. Good service. They advised the 16x12 for my 320, which indeed performs exactly the same as the static prop.

I have a 375 hanse
I have just installed with the same 3YM30 engine a flexofod propeller 2 blades 17x3 (it is the calculation of flexofold in France) and it is really very good.
Before I had the original 16x12 propeller and I had to climb to 2800 or 3000 rpm to get to 6 knots
NOW I can do 6 kts at 2200 rpm

Hi Guys,
We have a 2008 370 with yanmar ym30 and sd20 saildrive.
We changed to a flexofold  2 blade folding prop.

Under forward power the boat pulls significantly to starboard and in reverse to port.
In reverse this is not so much of a problem but in forward it is really quite an issue.

Do others have this issue with the flexofold or is it just us?
If so which other prop would be recommended that doesn't have this characteristic?

Thanks for your input

Hi - You are talking about when motoring along, eg not just propwalk?

I have a 3x bland F-o-F and have some prop walk but no discernible impact when moving along in either ahead or astern. She steers nice and straight

This pull is significant in forward. We cannot leave the boat under power without locking the wheel it will pull to starboard quite strongly. We have checked alignment etc. We also get the pull to port on reversing which is not so much of an issue. Sailing she is absolutely straight. Anyone with a 370 have similar problems with the flexo fold 2 blade prop?

What you discribe is quite normal. Our rudders are balanced so it has some area infront of the rudder stock. So when then prop wash hit the rudder it will accelerate the angel.
Long story short - when motoring you can not leave the wheel. Either lock the wheel or use autopilot
