We have a MV Combicharger 12/2200-100 and there is no charging function anymore. We have 220 V aboard and the LEDs don't show any failure; there's just the "AC present"-LED on. Any suggestions? Edited by tobo2 - 17 September 2021 at 22:26 |

Try flipping the switch from the “ON” position to the charge only “CH” position. This will bypass auto changeover function. I don’t know why the auto changeover is not working, but this will test the charger function and show if the charger is working. Just a first step.

I also notice that AC power LED is not illuminated on one of your remote panels. That is suspicious. Try disconnecting that panel from the main unit and see if charge function is restored.

Did you try putting the external power selector to zero, and the service switch off, e.g. not providing any supply? Sometimes it can get stuck when there is an overload...

Try pressing the “on/off” button on the Inverter/Charger Control Panel - the top panel in the pictures.

Thank you guys for your tipps, the solution seemed to be simpler: The voltage in the whole marina was apparently too low (200 V); something that can often happen in marinas in Southern Europe. The only strange thing was that no LED did show any failure. Anyway, in the evening the charger was working fine as usual and sailing to the next port it was also ok. Let's hope it was a single issue as the MV charger combi is barely 2 years old.
