Hanse 370 model 2008, 3 kabin version:
Has anyone successfully added an additional holding tank ? If yes pls let me know hos you installer this. Considering to use the port aft cabin cabinet(half of it) but not sure if this is possible.

I did that on my H370, 2008. If you use advanced search and search by member name (Astarte) any date you should find how I did it ( posted 15 April 2020).

Thank you for this information.
In Your april 2020 post you state that you have blocked the inlet to the original tank? I didnt quite understand how the routing is from the toilet to blackwatertank-1 and 2. How to you switch from 1 to 2? Or Are you only using blackwater tank 2?

In this H400 the existing holding tank is enlarged to hold 85 liters:

Hi Havsula,
The two tanks are linked with a pipe from outlet of tank one to outlet of tank two. This pipe is split with a T-connector to the thru- hull valve. I pump from toilet to inlet of tank two. Since the two tanks are connected they will up in parallel. The inlet of the old tank is therefore not used.

Thank you, this makes perfect sense!
Do you have any photos from the installation? Did you mount the 2nd tank at the exact same height as the original tank?

Sorry about pictures. Bottom of new tank will be naturally mounted a few cm higher than the old one. You can call me on 91337586 if you need more details.

Is there in the existing holding tank a non-return valve on the inlet?

No non-return valve except in the toilet pump itself. However the inlet pipe inside the tank goes to near the top of the tank.
