No sanding , I used the 3M VHB sheet provided with the panel to stick them to the deck. That was one of the changes I made when I installed the 121w in front of the mast , I used SikaFlex 291 instead of the 3M VHB. The 3M VHB is just far too good at its job , it is a very very big job to get them off if you need to make repairs etc.

Hi MattPlowman, how is the slippery/non-slippery effect on the garagewings. I use the area each time the Lazypack is closed and opened.

I would say the non-slip would be very effective. Even though these are marketed as walk on , I do not walk on them so cannot tell you 100% , I also use the area to sort the lazypack but there is enough space in front of the panels for foot placement.

Hi mattplowman. I am about to copy your project. What kind of Scanstrut deck gland and size of Victron MPPT controller did you use ?

I used the small scanstrut horizontal in order to make sure no issues with fit under the hatch garage. used

I have 3 75/15s MPPTs , oversized for my current array but my thinking was I could add more / bigger  panels in the future.
