The rudder wheel turns more to starboard than to port. How can i solve?

First, you need to verify what the problem is.  Start by centering the rudder. This can only be done accurately by visually centering the rudder at the hull. NOT by looking at the wheel! Once that is done, mark the top center of the wheel with tape. That is the true center at the wheel.  Then you can make your turns to port and starboard and not any differences if any. If you still see a difference of more than a degree or two, then the next place to look is the rudder stops. They should be adjusted so the turns are the same in either direction…usually 35 degrees.

After following what was indicated there are still differences and it continues to turn more to starboard, 45 degrees, than to port, 26 degrees

Ok, then I consider the possibility that the quadrant or tiller ( which ever is used on the rudder post) may have slipped on the post and now has rotated to new location. The total travel that you state is 71 degrees which is the correct total travel. Check the attachment to the rudder post.
