Has anyone any experience of fitting a black water tank into a Hanse 350?
I'm just looking at this as a project to give us more flexibility when sailing next summer. Andy

Hi Andy,
We have the two cabin layout with the heads just forward of the lazerette on the port side. Our boat came to us with what I believe was the factory fitted holding tank located in the lazerette on the bulkhead adjacent to the heads. It is only 30 litres though so you either need excellent control or a diverter valve. Bob

I have just bought a 345, and am going to change the black water tank to a bigger one, I have two cabins and am going to install a large tank in the luggage compartment. (Dometic Septic tank 137 liters DHT137L)
To achieve this, I also have to switch to an electric toilet, and an electric septic drain pump. PS. Trying to make a thread on the 345 forum if you want to follow the construction which starts in week 8-9 |
