I found a new promotion video. Karl Dehler explains the Hanse 575. Sorry only in german so far. But it may be interesting for new owners.

BTW Nice boat!

Interesting that this is the replacement for the 545 according to the video... Does this mean the 495 will be replaced next? (It would appear to be the next in line) maybe a 505 next???

Hi!
That's a good Question. I believe, that the last " old" boat Construction is the 630! I guess it is Time to come out with a new Design, otherwise they will loose against the strong Competitors which was comming up over the last Years.

Regards
best regards

There is another video available at youtube, a test of Yachting World:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSSRsQp0uKQ
"It's a boat designed for a couple" (!). Toby Hodges seems to be quite impressed by the handy steering at 27 kn true wind going upwind and I was too! Does the Jefa rudder system have a hydraulic support? Does anybody know?

Hi Tobo,

The Jefa steering does not have hydraulic support and infact this one was geared slightly too highly so although it felt lovely upwind (amazing balance) was slightly heavy on a reach.

They have now changed the steering gearing and it feels great at all wind angles

Cheers

Phil
