Hello everybody,
I have four rod sensor (with 5 wires flat cable) in my water tank (Hanse 355 nr57 from 2011 with Philippi display).   Brand seems to be Calira.
Does anyone have reference number & brand for replacement (or anything better for improvement) ?
Thanks
Bruno

Hi Bruno,

I used a Philippi TGW sensor, but Wema www.wema.no should work as well.

Best Regards
Frank

Hello  - sorry to bring this up....AGAIN !
My 400 from 2007 there was little  water in the tank it was reading I green square, ... and then one red and amber... , I cleaned the rods and tested them individually in a bucket of water and they seemed to work. ! ... 1 month later, it is back to not working ...  Cry
Could this be Electrical, or, is the gauge faulty.. and if so, how can I replace the  water sensor unit ..
Any similar experiences   don't think the TGW water sensor will fit my boat, or work with the Gauge it  seems to be newer Hanse boats

I will try and send pictures, my water sensor has 5 metal rods of different length, the wiring connect at the top of the water gauge has 5 coloured wires ..
Thanks in advance .

Jonathan

Seems to be a common occurrence with the Collibri gauge. I’ve tried two of them. I think it’s due to condensation and water droplets connecting between the prongs at the attachment point. Boat movement brings on the problem. The top full mark is on pretty well all the time. The other indicators work after a fashion when the yacht has been at rest for a while, with the lowest two indicators being the most reliable. We somehow muddle through during our cruising.
