Can anyone tell me if the halyard winch is wired to the house batteries or the Windlass Battery
TIA

In our 2008 370 the cockpit winches are connected to the windlass batteries.
The circuit breakers/auto-fuses are in back of starboard aft cabin The two haleyard winches are non-electric on our boat. /h8jer

Thank you for your response
Are you running your windlass & winches off a deep cycle battery?? I am working with Ocean Planet on a power configuration and they recommended to you a combination battery NOT a deep cycle.

I have 2x90ah varta leadAcid. They are old, but they are not drained much.
Will add battery monitor for those batteries this year. They power the 3000w thruster so high cranking power is needed. Think that is why I have 2.

On my 2008 model the electric halyard winch is on the house batteries. Subsequent to delivery I modified the electric windlass battery to be part of the house bank. The engine on relay is still in place so I can't see any issues with excessive draining, but it does give quite a few usable added Ah to the boat
