I am in the process of working with Trident Studios to have a half-hull of my Hanse 375 Gemini made.  They have just received the drawings from Hanse/JV and will begin the process shortly.  Any owners interested, you can contact them as follows:

These are Fraley half hulls.    When ever we get a new boat (every 10 years or so) we have the bell engraved and the half hull made.   Our Hanse 575 is at bottom.  Its bell is on the boat (as required).  The bells from the old boats go on the wall after we sell the boat.

FWIW

That's so cool.

I've had three boats and so would love a set of them. Can I be cheeky and get an idea of likely costs?

I was surprised & encouraged that Hanse / JV released the drawings to the model makers. I wonder if they would release existing, in production, models eg my 418

Thanks!  Your Hanse 575 looks gorgeous and very similar to my 375.  the type of half hull is what I am looking for (half hull that includes the cabin top).  I will look into your modeler to compare prices.  I was oringally quoted USD $860 for two models.  considering having one for my home and donating one to the club.  Curious what the other modeler charges and if they have the drawings for the 375?

Truth be told,   the 575 half hull was a gift from the broker a month after we took delivery.  We built each of our boats (Island Packet 45,  Hylas 49 and Hanse 575), and I would have done it anyway,  but it was a nice gesture.    About $500-$600 dollars is what I remember, but that could be out of date.     I also have the bells engraved with the date of christening/commissioning (my daughter smashing the bottle over the anchor date).....

I think ours is up on the Fraley web site if you look.

Rick, do you have contact info?  I have tried Googling them and reaching out with the info on the Web, but the email got bounced back and I tried calling the phone number and that has been disconnected.  Wonder if they went out of business.

Turns out it was www.abordage.com who did the work.    Not Fraley.  Sorry.    Here is the link...

https://abordage.com/custom-models/custom-half-models/hanse-575-custom-half-hull.html  One comment I would make is that you should try to keep multiple models at the same scale.   Ours are, and you can see the size differences between the 45, the 49 and the 575 easily.

Here is the picture of my study with all three and the two bells from decommissioned boats.
