I am about to install an "Eberspacher D4" dieselheater in my Hanse 371 2004 mod.
Have taken out the old Wallas 2400 - too small and too many problems !
My question is how to connect the diesel supply. There is an extra empty outlet ,with a cap nut on, at the front of the diesel tank . This outlet is in line with the two outlets already in use (for diesel to the engine and return diesel from the engine).
Does anyone knows if this extra outlet is a riser that can be used for the diesel heater ?

You use the thin tube from Eberspåcher and conduct it though the empty outlet and down to about 1-2 cm above the bottom of the diesetank. The original pipe that is a continuation of the outlet is too large in innerdiameter. I then used a brass "slangnippel" that did fit the thread, I drilled a little bigger hole that the tin pipe could pass and tighted with a thin hose and a pair of hoseclips. This has worked since 2004.
