Hi

My inline fuse to the autopilot breaks immediately after engaging the autopilot.
I guess there is a problem within the Jefa drive, so i want to dismount it from the boat.
But i cant figure out how to disconnect the cables it goes in through a bulkhead fitting and reappears at the course computer. Is the course computer the only connection point or is there somewhere in between i can accsess the cables and disconnct them?

The wires are continuous from the DD1 to the fuse just before the course computer in the locker.
When I had a similar problem I cut the wires where visible before the DD1 and subsequently soldered them carefully back together with heat shrink on top. I've not had any problems since.
